This manual presents further basic key concepts concerning WorkNC features, in addition to the concepts
presented in the CAM Basic 1 training guide. The particular examples given in the manual may not concern all
users or applications of WorkNC. The main goal of this manual is to provide users with the tools (knowledge
and concepts) that may be applied to specific problems that they may encounter when working with WorkNC.
At the end of the training session, you should be able to:
Import an image in the CAM mode
Use the Print/Plot functions and make screenshots
Use the Progressive Display advanced functions
Define workzone information and configure the directories for the workzone files
Clone a workzone and make a symmetrical copy of this workzone
Organize toolpaths in the Workzone Manager
Understand the operation status symbols displayed in the Workzone Manager
Generate HTML documentation for the workzone
Create entities in the Preparation mode and export them to the CAM mode
Create CAM entities such as points, views, etc.
Use CAM entities to restrict the Machining Zone
Program toolpaths on multiple views
Edit several toolpaths with the Multi-Edit dialog box
Create and import machining sequences
Program 3D Contouring and Remachining toolpaths
